February 2023 Meeting
Join us on Wednesday, February 15, at 5:30 pm for a presentation from Dr. Francisco (Paco) Gomez, Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies at the University of Missouri, titled:
“Preliminary investigation of pre-historic earthquakes in the Grand River Tectonic Zone of north-central Missouri”
The meeting will be held at Pietro’s located at 3801 Watson Rd, St. Louis, MO 63109. Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP by February 13, 2023 to attend. There will be no charge to attend the February meeting!

Join us on Wednesday, March 29, at 5:30 pm for a presentation from Dr. Jim Depa, a geologist and senior project manager at Jacob and Hefner Associates, Inc., titled:
“Using Statistical Modeling and Python to Efficiently Create 3D Deliverables and Design Remedial Options”
The meeting will be held at Terracon located at 11600 Lilburn Park Rd, St. Louis, Missouri. Dinner will be provided. RSVP by March 27, 2023 to attend.
The charge for this meeting is $5 for students, $10 for members, and $20 for non-members. Additionally, all members are encouraged to bring a friend/non-member free of charge (i.e. friends of AEG members will not be charged to attend this meeting)!

Wednesday 4/26: Join us on Wednesday, April 26, at 5:30 pm for a presentation from Dr. Ethan Shavers, the CEGIS Section Chief and lead researcher on the Remote Sensing and Modeling for Hydrography project.
The meeting will be held at CJ Muggs located at 101 W Lockwood Ave, Webster Groves, MO. Dinner will be provided. RSVP by April 25, 2023, to attend.
